The White House
Tours
of the White House are offered Tuesday through Saturday from
7:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon and are available on a limited basis. The White House will only accept requests
for groups of ten or more. If you have fewer than ten individuals

in advance, but no later than one month in advance. Due to heavy
demand, tours fill up very quickly. Requests should be made
as early as possible. My office will contact you as soon as
the White House notifies us about the status of your tour -
usually within a month of your arrival, but the notification
time may be shorter. Unfortunately, there is no guarantee that
the White House will be able to accommodate your request.
The full name, birthdate, social security number, country of
origin and country of citizenship of each person who will be
on the tour are required by the White House. Please have this
information ready when you place your request with my office.
Reservations
are not required to visit the White House Visitor Center, located
in the Department of Commerce building at the southeast corner
of 15th and E Streets, NW. The Visitor Center is open to the
public, seven days a week from 7:30 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. For
more information, call the 24-hour Visitors Office Information
